For the second week of my spring hike, I hiked with a woman from Germany, “Trail Snail”. I also hiked with Trail Snail during August, September and October when she headed south. Trail Snail completed a Flip Flop thru hike, Harpers Ferry to Kahtadin and Harpers Ferry to Springer. She maintained a journal on Tumblr in German. I have used Google Translate to translate the journal to English. The translation is pretty good but not perfect.
