It was a four hour drive to meet Bob at the Days Inn Williamsport. The Days Inn still has a Red Roof Inn sign. Not the nicest room but the beds are clean and comfortable. Better than sleeping in the woods? The temperature started at 50 for today.

We made a stop at New Trail Brewing hoping to have dinner but limited food options meant only a beer. So it was off to Boom City Brewing where we enjoyed half pound burgers with onion rings in downtown Williamsport.

So back to the room to relax before starting our hike tomorrow. The sun even came out. There is supposed to be a meteor shower tonight. Not sure we will see anything but hopefully it will be clear tomorrow. Plan is breakfast at a diner then head to the trail-head.
